Magnus Energy Strengthens Leadership with Glenn Janssen

Magnus Energy welcomes Glenn Janssen, an experienced consultant and program manager in the energy transition sector. Glenn will lead the Ciratum team, following Magnus Energy’s recent acquisition of the company. This will enable Ciratum’s founder, Rudolf Das, to retire as of 1st January 2025. What expertise does Glenn bring to the table? Let’s find out.

Glenn, could you share a bit about your background?

After graduating as an industrial engineer from the Technical University of Eindhoven, I began my consulting career at Accenture in 2006 and later joined Valcon. As a consultant and program manager, I’ve worked on numerous projects within the energy sector. My main focus has always been projects at the intersection of business and IT.

Are there any specific projects that stand out for you?

I’ve worked on many projects, from implementing a new SCADA system to acting as an information risk business manager. More recently, I’ve overseen several projects for government bodies responsible for compensating damages caused by mining activities in the Netherlands. This work has been particularly fulfilling, given my personal connection—my grandfather worked in the mines in Limburg.

What are your expectations for leading the recently joined Ciratum team?

I’m eager to get to know the team and begin working together. For me, it’s crucial that we continue to grow, enjoy our work, and achieve success as a team. I aim to further develop the team while also overseeing the collaboration between Ciratum and Magnus Energy. There are many exciting opportunities ahead of us!

What can clients expect from you?

I’m passionate about working alongside clients every day to help them achieve their goals. The collaboration between Ciratum and Magnus Energy brings together our expertise and skills, allowing us to deliver even greater value. I look forward to meeting both current and future clients and contributing to successful projects.
