Implementing the Network Code on Cyber Security
The upcoming Network Code on Cyber Security (NCCS) is expected to impact many stakeholders in the energy sector. The exchange of best practices is crucial when it comes to successfully implementing the NCCS.
With a new benchmark, Magnus Energy aims to support the sector in assessing the necessary implementation steps for the NCCS. For each of the major topics in the NCCS, the benchmark will reflect the biggest challenges and will highlights the experiences relevant to all involved.
The energy sector is expected to be impacted significantly by the new legislation, which includes expectations for organisations to implement four core mechanisms:
- Implementation of cross-border risk management
- ͏Certification & verification of organisations and processes
- Sharing of technical information within the Cybersecurity Framework
- Harmonised product certification for procurement at high-risk entities
Furthermore, all implementation must happen in constant alignment with NCAs, NRAs, ACER, ENTSO-E, EU DSO entity, ENISA and many more stakeholders.
You are invited to share your experience!
Our focus is on finding how implementation is prepared across the sector, thereby helping all parties involved with a free-to-access benchmark study. If your are interested to contribute, feel free to contact us via the emailaddress you can find on the right.
